Unsettled

It's not worried. It's waiting.
It's not anxious. It's antsy.
Mild disturbances,
Little perturbances,
Agitation in cogitation,
Niggling nettles.

I got 'em.

I'm unsettled.

UPDATE: As I was checking email I found one from my cousin with a link to the music of Max Cohen. Some settling of Lime is occurring. Also, thanks to all of you who shared favorite poets and poems as well as a few sweet stories I so enjoyed them all.

  4. Without knowing what the 'niggling nettles' are, I'll just say that 'waiting' and 'antsy' aren't necessarily bad things. And 'unsettled' could be just getting ready for something new and interesting. Without knowing any details. . .

Nice piece of poetry, too. . .

  9. You sure it's not just gas? I'm making jokes, 'cause I can't give you a hug. Consider all of our comments a hug, then. Better yet... consider them chocolate. Whatever the cause of your uneasiness, I pray that today the Lord turns your mourning (so to speak) to dancing.

  11. May the vex not be with you.

Though when I get that way a long hot bath helps.

And there's always Turtle Dove Thursday! Just sayin... ;)
