Friday 55-Complaining to Management

Dear Sir,
I wish to register a complaint.
Yesterday it snowed.
Please understand, I like snow,
in it's proper season.
I do not wish to enjoy it until nearly the Winter Solstice.
I have NO interest in it after the Vernal Equinox.
Your timely attention in rectifying this will be greatly appreciated.
Gratefully,
Frozen Lime

  3. Your snow is beautiful, Michele. But I agree--this is too early! We are having an unusually long Indian summer here in northern New Mexico, and I have to admit I am loving it. We traditionally get our first snow here on Halloween. Even that's too early for me.

Your 55, as always, is witty.

  6. Fall is NOT suppose to be winter part 1!!
I was making that complaint last week out here.
This week we are back into fall weather but evidently winter is moving in early on you this week.
    Bleck!

  12. We woke up last Saturday to our earliest seasonal snowfall in nearly 80 years. Completely outrageous, and a harsh reminder that I am definitely not ready for any of this!

  13. By now our dear Manager must be busy trying to decide which complaint letter he would read first(He must be buried in a mountain of it). The climate change due to global warming is really driving everyone nuts.

  14. Hahaha you should really add to your complaint letter that snowing before there has been snow in Oslo Norway is really inappropriate. I mean we have a reputation to maintain here!

  15. Here's my policy for a good snow year: A light dusting at CHristmas, ne heavy snowfall in maybe January which forces everyoe to stay home a cople of days, and then bring me spring.

I almost hate to tell you that we are having the most glorious of Indian summers and the leaves are slowly turning through all the shades of Autumn.

Hope you get a warm response.

  20. Wow

We have had a big and early dumping of rain here!

    Can you say global warming?

  21. He is all confused this year. We had snow as expected around the 23rd of September and then it went away and we have had 60 degree temps in October instead of the usual ice covered roads and snowy ditches. Now I'm in Phoenix for a week and it's still 100 degrees. Insane!
