Everything is done.

DA COUNT

Wednesday was the first day I felt like I had the rhythm down at work since I started there. It was no small feat since we had 5 new patients in the morning in addition to the regular schedule of established patients and one of the new ones was an unscheduled walk-in. It was the first day when I felt like I didn't have 100 mistakes to apologize for, and even managed to stay a few steps ahead of things in spite of the unusually heavy schedule.

  4. It's really cool when you finally get the feeling that you are a smoothly-functioning part of a place. Make yourself so indispensable that they won't be able to fire you next time you say something humorous (which, knowing you, will be much sooner than you can make yourself indispensable, but still.)

As for work, I'm more than happy to be retired and doing a lot of camping.

But I guess someone has to carry on, carry on then.
