Slice of Lime-Sleeping In

I've been having long days and late nights this week. Last night when I went to bed Mr. Lime was tossing and turning so violently it kept me awake. Fortunately, one of the benefits of a kid at college is a spare bed. I grabbed my pillow and moved to her bed.
I slept much better without a thrashing bed mate.
I slept so well I never heard anyone else get up
and never woke up until 9am.
Aaahhh....

Felt good.

  1. Sleeping in is nice. . .

You sound the least bit like my own dear wife here; she can never get as much sleep as she craves, either. . .

  2. Ah! The relaxed face of a sleeping Lime is quite beautiful. A pleasant sight for my morning.

  3. Been there, done that! When my daughter went to college, I couldn't wait to enjoy the solitude of her vacant room!

  4. A vacant room? You lucky sleeper. When my hubby snores my choices are the couch or the dog's bed.

  5. Sleep is good. I took a picture of my sleeping teenager last week with her own camera. I can't wait 'till she scrolls through her pics to find it. (lol)

What, no drool on the pillow? Rest well, Empress Lime.

Like the dad in the last Transformer movie, I plan on making my son's bedroom into a jamming beach themed entertainment center in four more years once I ship the dude off to college.

I'll buy him a futon for the days he comes home.
