Friday 55-Holy of Holies

Only the high priest could enter,

only one day a year,

only after admitting his unworthiness,

only in vulnerability

could he meet God's heart.

We are not god and priest,
but we carry the divine spark

and I ask you,

before approaching my heart.

 to enter meekly,

confess your weakness
as I reveal my own.
