Happy Thanksgiving

Norman Rockwell titled this Freedom from Want. There are many in want in our nation and across the world. May those of us in plenty be truly grateful and may we work toward a world where no one is in want.

Happy Thanksgiving.

My ambition is to find a book of Norman Rockwell's work...they are so redolent of the 40's and 50's and made me fall in love with all thing's American.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours

  12. That's the best Thanksgiving sentiment possible. As we all enjoy our "too much," may we think about to transfer some of that to those with too little.

  15. Ah yes. Take nothing for granted. As one who lived in Third World countries twice (once as a foreign exchange student and once for summer), I got to see that not everyone has it as rosy as we do.

Then again, we have 3rd world poverty in this country too, but it seems Americans like to look the other way about that.
