...would explain how I can simultaneously be incredibly proud of my two girls for their recent accomplishments and yet want to stand on a table and scream at them for some especially boneheaded and irresponsible choices.
Seriously...well done, congratulations!!
and...
WHAT in the bloody hell were you thinking?!
Yes, they are wack! There's not much else to say.
ReplyDeletemy little ones are going to kill me when they hit the teens i'm pretty sure
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the gals.
ReplyDeleteDon't be silly, Lime. We must never stand on a table to scream at our kids. It is much safer to use a non-swivel chair.
I must remember that when I tell my kids about bonehead choices in my own past, that I complete the story by telling them about the consequences or how things could be better today if I made better choices instead.
Congrats - better late than never :-)
ReplyDeleteand people wonder why we age so rapidly during our kids teenage years...
ReplyDeleteHahaha!
ReplyDeleteSo I should expect many more gray hairs in the next 10 years? Damn.
LOL.... ah yes, the joys of parenting! :D
ReplyDeleteHang in there!
Isnt that an Oxymoron anyhow..
ReplyDeletethe JOYS of Teens? LOL
I can only imagine. With my three, there have been plenty of those moments.

ReplyDeleteOh girlfriend! Been there done that!
ReplyDeleteI'm developing my talent to tune out the world even further because of my son turning 13. That and buying rolls of cheap bubble rap for the therapeutic valve popping the little bubbles one by one. Its got a Zen quality.
ReplyDeleteHa!!
ReplyDeleteUh oh, they got drunk to celebrate?
ReplyDeleteOrrrr something like that?
Congratulations, girls, now behave!
I'm pretty sure they'll grow out of one of those sets of behaviors.
ReplyDeleteWoe to Adult Boneheads. Praise to Adult Achievers.
