Da Count in 55-Thanks to Management

Dear Sir,
Today I must thank you for your attention to the matter.
The temperatures have been lovely and more seasonably appropriate.
I appreciate very much the chance to enjoy the splendor of my favorite month without first shovelling snow.
Yours very gratefully,
Happily Thawed Lime

  4. Great 55, Lime. It has been freezing around here. I think we've had two days that were warm enough to be considered normal. Other than that, I've been could for weeks...

  7. Amazing change in this neck of the woods. We had snow last Sunday - enough to make the Patriots game a fun thing to watch, what with the actual snow-covered field, despite it being a 59-0 blowout - and now it has been in the 60's here most of the week.

  8. Beautiful....my favorite time o' year.

And yes...I hate snow shoveling too. That's why I retired to the Deep South.

My 55 is posted, if you'd like to stop by and read along with me. As always, scroll down below my Show n Tell Friday submission. Click HERE

    Have a glorious weekend.

  11. I think maybe I should write a letter too. This fall has seriously sucked so far. It is pouring again today and our yard is a massive mud puddle. Plus it is so windy all the leaves are off the trees and I never got the chance to take the boys pics in our annual fall leaf pile. No leaf pile this year. I think it has rained 20 of the last 25 days. Grrr.
Beautiful pic! At least I get to see some pretty fall color here. :)

I cannot believe it has taken me so long to 'get' what - da count- actually means. Good grief! Am I slow, or what?

Here it is lovely, sunny yet cold enough for a fire in the evenings. Love it.

  13. I live in Portland. I want summer. I miss summer. It'll be 10 months until summer. I should travel to somewhere it is summer.

Of course, our summers are fantastical...

  14. Ah, yes. October is my favorite month, too. But alas, this year, at any rate, most of the glorious fall weather has happened during the work week, leaving the crappy stuff for the weekends. . . (*sigh*)

    But - good Count; thanks. . .
