Family Matters

It matters when two people start a life together.

It matters when it ends.

It matters when a child is born.

It matters when someone is ill.

It matters when a someone dies.

It matters when someone learns.

It matters when someone graduates.

It matters when someone goes to jail.

It matters when there is a milestone birthday.

It matters when there is a holiday.

It matters when someone succeeds.

It matters when one struggles to succeed.

It matters when they support you.

It matters when they ignore you.

It matters when they hurt you.

It matters when they need you.

It matters when they are there when you need them.

It matters when they support you.

It matters when they don't.

It matters when you laugh, cry, argue, or reconcile with them.

It matters if they are healthy.

It matters if they are dysfunctional.

If it is family, doesn't it all matter in one way or another?

It ALL matters!!

One thing I have come to realize is that there is no such thing as a functional family. The whole world is dysfunctional - some just cope a little better than others.

I agree with Snav, the only real question is do you have fun in your dysfunction?
And it does matter, always, even when you wish it didn't.

Health is what matters most. without health, one is not thinking of any other matter, besides getting one's health back.
