Weird Wednesday-Little Helper

I like to hang out my laundry to dry. It saves using electricity and it smells so wonderful. Yesterday as I was reaching into the bag for a clip I though ti felt something soft and squishy. I recoiled and looked inside to find a little helper.

I wasn't sure how he got in there but it was an awfully long hop to the ground so I took him out gently and sat him down safely. I'm not sure if that's a look of disgust or gratitude on his face. What do you think?

My daughter is so jealous... she says we're not getting the frogs and toads we used to since they've been clearing out all of the water retention ponds for more new homes.

Good thing you've already found your prince -- because this ain't it.

Well, if he doesn't feel a burning sensation in his legs, I'm sure he's thankful :)

I'm thinking he's waiting for a kiss...lol. I probably would have screamed and waited until Robert got home to get whatever it was out of the bag.

I wish I had a place to hang my laundry outside especially the sheets! The fresh air makes me sleep like a baby...

Haha! He looks so placid, so hard to tell if it's disgust or gratitude.

Cool pics!

haha.. very cool! I love the picture -- very rustic..

if you're nice enough, you can kiss it - he turns into swinging dutch gay guy named Sven, who'll do all your laundry all the while telling you how poorly you decorate your house, how you should drink decaf coffee or mocha-latte's and how tie-dyed shirts don't go with your regular assemble...

... this would then beg the question: How did get turned into a Frog in the first place?!!?! Cuz you CANNOT GO WITHOUT TIE-DYE!!!

Do you remember a show called Diff'rnt Strokes? In it on many occasions Arnold says the line "What you talkin' 'bout Willis"? I believe that is about the look I am seeing on Mr. Frogs face. So not gratitude but probably not disgust. Somwhere in between.

Now you make me want to hang my laundry out. I could as I have a yard, just don't have what I need to hang anything on.

Oh he's adorable Lime, photegenic, and I must say, fantastic photos girl!

We have gazillions of those little froggies around here. Did you know thats a good sign that your environment is healthy? Same for quail.

Unfortunately, those little froggies get into our boots, patio umbrellas, under flower pots and so we must always do "FROG CHECK" when stepping into boots etc, and yes, I have stepped on one and its not a pretty site.

I gotta make sure the Mrs doesn't see this post ... she's been after me to install a clothes-line in the back yard for years.

A mind meld with a frog might just be enlightening! ;)

We've got a little peeper living in the crack between the porch and the steps! Shy little bugger!

The only thing better than hanging clothes on the line to dry is the memory of hanging clothes on the line to dry.

Love the frog, the second shot of him on the clothespin.

Frog: Ribbet. Can I help you?

Lime: Well, I thought I told you to get the lawn mowed or this would happen.

Frog: Ribbet. Uh, yes dear. Let's just say I've learned my lesson. Again. So how about kissing me back to my sexy self?

Lime: The kids and I have steaks on the BBQ. I'll have ta get back to you on that---"DEAR."

Frog: Ribbet. She's becoming more and more strict every time.

I like to hang my wash on the line, too. Yes, it does save on electricity and gas. (I have a gas dryer). But it's still part of my electricity bill.

I love freshly air-, no-breeze-dried laundry. When I put it on, I carry that scent with me. Mmmm.

Nice little froggie. He must be practicing for the Olymphibian try-outs-you know, the high jump. Maybe he found a clothes pin on the lawn and tried to see how high he could go and landed in the bag of clothes pins.

That clothespin picture. Holy Toadaliciousness. Could you submit that photo somewhere...even if it's to some poster-making company that just wants to caption it with something like "Is it Friday yet?" and sell it to millions of cubicle workers...?
