Happy Thanksgiving


Norman Rockwell titled this Freedom from Want. There are many in want in our nation and across the world. May those of us in plenty be truly grateful and may we work toward a world where no one is in want.

My ambition is to find a book of Norman Rockwell's work...they are so redolent of the 40's and 50's and made me fall in love with all thing's American.

Ah yes. Take nothing for granted. As one who lived in Third World countries twice (once as a foreign exchange student and once for summer), I got to see that not everyone has it as rosy as we do.

Then again, we have 3rd world poverty in this country too, but it seems Americans like to look the other way about that.
