Happy Happy Joy Joy*

*READER ALERTDo not attempt to read this post during a meal.

Diana is puking.

Calypso is nauseous and headachy.

I am getting over many days of "shitting through a straw," as my father so delicately describes it.  Now I am starting with some nose and chest crud with head ache, chill, and phlegm galore.

That is all.

We will be festering in our own juices and petri dish of pathogens in the corner over here.

You go enjoy your day/meal/blog reading/relative health/whatever.

Dear Germy Invaders at House of Lime,

You may have gotten through this time, however, do not think you have won. Lime, Mr. Lime, and the Limelettes may look weak at the moment, but believe me, they are some tough cookies. I have seen them come out fighting with the power of a thousand suns, so I suspect they will be kicking your butts when you least expect it. If I were you, I'd pack up your little circus of festering festivities and high tail it out of dodge before you miss your chance. And don't come back here around these parts, otherwise, you'll be sorry.

You have been warned.

Been meaning to post something on my blog or Facebook but anyway, I've heard the Emergency Room staff mentioning a big uptick in flu-like cases at the hospital I work at.

Best wishes and hope everyone gets better soon.

Geez, I had a funny anecdote to relate about greasy liver and onions served to me on a boat being hit with 20-foot waves, but now probably isn't the best time, huh?

Yeesh. . . Again with the nausea/puking/shitting-thru-a-straw? You need to have yer house fumigated, or something. . .

And your father is obviously a man of highly refined sensibilities. . . ;)

Oooooh, hey, you guys got some crud too, isn't that fun?

We've been dealing with some permutation of the seasonal nasties.

Good freaking times

Lovely. What attracts germs ton Casa d'Lime? Hope the little bastard microbes pass quickly.

So you've got the creeping crud, eh? I recommend TEQUILA! (LOL!)

Get well soon, Lime dear!

Feel better sooner.

Between your "shitting through a straw" and Snowelf's "power of a thousand suns", I have some fairly violent mental images going on....

Get well soon!

Yuck. Well, hope your recent visit means you're feeling better. Best wishes and positive vibrations to all. And a belated Happy New Year.

Relative health is right. We've had a circular cold here. You know? The kind that seems to move from family member to family member without ever leaving the house? We're otherwise ok, though.

Am just now trying to return to Blogland following the annual Christmas extravaganza. Why can't every day be like Christmas? Well, I'll tell ya....

And it just so happens that my lovely wife's b'day is on Epiphany, so you know we're doing the full twelve days, more or less. Anyways, feel better soon.

Being from PA, you may appreciate my friend's version of "shitting through a straw": the Hershey Squirts. Ew.

OK. . . We obviously need a Meme Post collecting all the euphemisms for 'diarrhea' in one place. . .

That straw image is pretty intense. I've had a bit of the green apple quick-step, myself. I have no idea what's wrong, but my blood pressure is spiking and at lunchtime, I thought I had post nasal drip, and it turned out to be a nosebleed.

While I am always struck by the differences bewteen your father and mine, I have to admit yours summed things up with a much finer point than mine.

Honey, feel better. May your girls feel better. May the straws benefit from a deep cleaning when all is over and done.

Crap. 2011 is supposed to be CRAZY better for you than 2010...
