Merry Christmas

Nativity 02-2

I wish each of you a very Merry Christmas.

Posts may be a bit sporadic this coming week but in the interim I'll steal an idea from Snavy. I'd love to have you create a memory for me. Fictionalize a time we spent together. Make it funny, happy, sad, serious, crazy, whatever. You can leave it in the comments or email it to mountainlime@gmail.com. Thanks to each of you for making the blogosphere so much fun. Peace and love to you all this holiday season.

Merry Christmas, Lime.

Remember that time that we dressed up and infiltrated that Amish farm? Good times, well up until that whole barn raising incident.

I'm not allowed to tell. We were both sworn to secrecy after we left the CIA. (But, we'll always have Paris.)

Merry Christmas.

Remember the time we went to the Rosie show to do some cow tipping? Good times, good times. Hard to believe that woman is as strong as she is. I'm still singing in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir because of her. Maybe next time you will warn me before the celebrity strikes? Have a nice Christmas.

Well - I promised I wouldn't mention it again while sober so I can't talk about it now. But I will say that I couldn't hear out of my left ear for about 2 weeks afterwards and I'll never look at a lawnmower the same way again. lol!

Merry Christmas to you, too. Can I have a cookie? My kitchen is still torn up and I didn't get to back any this year.

I'll never forget the times when we were kids growing up, and we used to sneak behind the pickled beet factory and eat the discarded beets that were either overcooked or undercooked. Rememgber how you liked the overcooked ones, and I liked the hard, undercooked ones... and how our hands and mouths would be stained red from beet juice and we would really get in trouble with our moms? My mom swore to high heaven when she couldnt get the beet stains out of my yellow and white checked pinafore. Good times, good times....

Well, I didn't think you wanted to talk about it ever again...but there was the time we were baking cookies in my Mama's kitchen. That old stove! It was somethin' else. Remember? Mama said we shouldn't touch it when she was out. But you wanted to make cookies. So we lit the oven with a match...swoosh! it flamed up and shinged your eyebrows right off.
Whoa boy. The kids made fun of you at school. You did look pretty funny. But I didn't laugh. Oh, Nooooo, not me!

Remember the time when we in the war? We found ourselves stuck in a landmine field, and it was quite difficult to get out. We carefully and slowly made our way out to the clearing, when we started taking enemy fire. My gun jammed and you stepped up heroicly and fired like mad! The nearby enemy soldiers were so scared they retreated with a quickness. You saved my life that day, and I will never forget.

Well, was away from a computer until the 27th, but hope you had a Merry Christmas.

Remember the time when we were hanging out in L.A. and of all people, Alex Trabec was sitting next to us at a bar? We started talking and he realized how smart we were. he asked us to be on Jeopardy, but I got really sick that day.

Sorry Lime. I let you down buddy. We could have won some big money. But we were only in the L.A. area for those few days.
