Half Nekkid Christmas Gifts

There's a request from the HNT boss himself that instead of HNT pictures this week we give gifts to someone other than the people we know best and are closest to. Technically we are supposed to give them to other HNTers but well, I am just not very good at following rules. Since the gifts are virtual there is no limit.

Theresa's blog is called 'The Rain in Spain.' With a name like that I figure she might need a good umbrella.

Witnessing Am I is an amazingly talented writer. His poetry and vignettes so often take my breath away as he perfectly captures a moment in time. I know he is looking for a publisher. I'd give him one and make sure his book gets into the hands of as many people as possible.

Kfarmer has has a year of difficulty and sadnesses with some many people close to her suffering in so many ways. She's an absolute angel to her friends and family when they are in deepest need. I'd give her a much needed rest and a good bit of pampering.

After reading about an eel powered Christmas tree Mona wanted an eel of her own to use as a generator when her power goes out. Now how could I refuse her? This Christmas I am giving her a whole school of eels! (What IS the collective noun for eels? School? Flock? Pod? Murder? Shock? Ah, I like that...a shock of eels.)

A Shock of Eels - sounds like a great name for a band! Cool list of gifts, and since you broke Os's rules in the spirit of giving, I'm sure he'll forgive you. Happy HNT! (I love the cool new profile pic, BTW)

Haha! I'd love to see Susie carry that eel to India to give to Mona. It might be tough getting through security though.

What a surprise!! I came here looking for a giggle, a laugh, a wonderful story, an insightful anectdote. I didn't know I would come here, humbled by your words, feeling a little half-nekkid.

Thank you so much, so very much.

What a great contribution! Maybe I should be glad we've not been into a Norwegian sauna yet after all :-)

I've eaten eel on many occasions. Both freshwater and saltwater eel. I think the first time I ever ate eel was on vacation in New Zealand. It was smoked. Yummy!

Oh, she wanted it as a generator. Ok. I won't eat that one.
