Hello Out There

I swear I am not supposed to be able to communicate with the outside world lately.

The post office changed one small part of my address. I did not move. Yet my utility services and the local schools cannot seem to get the change correct. Now the post offfice is ending the forward period. Add to this an incompetent delivery person. Going to the mail box every day is a big surprise because I never know WHOSE mail is going to be in my mailbox, nor do I have any idea who is receiving MY mail.

Lost cellphone bills make the company threaten to disrupt service (even though THEY have been the company least likely to get my address correct).

My land line has been somewhat spotty lately too.

Oh, and my Internet provider admits they are having difficulty with all the high speed service in the area so yours truly has been battling crappy connections online.

Now, I had a lovely little Trojan to contend with and that took me all day to sort out.

I am just a wee tad aggravated by all of this and I am considering resorting to smoke signals and carrier pigeons for my communication needs. either that or if you all could gather up a lot of tin cans and strings...

Well, I think at least I have things working on the computer again and I found this at Alro's place and it made me laugh like a loon. I needed the laugh so I am sharing it with all of you.

Dang...that's guys got some talent in his hands. He and not to crack up doing that...ok, he cracked a smile in the end. I wonder how long it took him to practice that.

I had to contend with a trojan a couple of weeks ago too. No fun at all.

#1 and I sat here laughing hysterically at that. He's got some talent there. I'm not sure what it is, but he's got it.

TOO FUNNY!

I'm pretty fed up with my DSL service - think I'm gonna boot it in favor of Hughes Net!

I love this guy... what Jillie said. He was so good and equally as wonderful, he did not crack up. It was like he was taking this oh so serious. He was so very good to. Of course it does not hurt that I love that song too. Thank you.

I hear you on the mess up on the delivery. I used to open my mail without paying attention who it was mailed to. Now I always look because I just never know who's mail I have. Luckily this only happens a few times a month maybe.

When I was growing up we changed zip codes. We went from the one zip code to one just for our city. That was rather interesting to. Good luck with you minor address change.

Oh and are you in luck. Now I do not have a lot of string so you are on your own there but... do I have cans!!! I bought several cases of chili making fixings at a real good sale. Now while I used some of the cans, most were not used and are old enough they need to be pitched. Let me get out my trusty can opener and I am sure I can supply you with all the cans you need. Do I need to peel off the labels?

Oh and for me it is my online accounts acting up. I can not get into my bank accounts nor my charge cards. It is driving me crazy. I need to give them a call again and see what can be done. Arg!

Well, have you tried owls? Seem to work in the Harry Potter universe.

I'll check out that vid...

Now, that's some serious talent. I'll have to invite him to my anti-zombie compound to keep morale high when the plague starts. :)

The post office changed part of your address?? I suggest you start shopping for a new post office. Oh wait ... I forget ... they're a monopoly. It's actually ILLEGAL for anyone else to deliver letters like they do.

He has an amazing "range" with those farting hands... hahahaha oh isn't it a crack up what we humans are capable of?

So sorry to hear about your mail and computer woes. My monitor is still busted, and I'm trying to exist using my sweeties laptop which is next to insanity for me. Remember when we used only snail mail? Letters in the mail still make me happier than email - but trying to get along without my email would become torturous after a few days without...

If you'd quit playing with rubbers all day and maybe pay attention, you wouldn't have such problems. Let go of the Trojan already!

Hey Lime! I have been fighting a Trojan too and it isn't fun, I too think I have mine all sorted out, thank goodness!

The video is hilarious, I couldn't sit there straight faced and do that!

Hope you have a great Thursday!

Do the PO have the RIGHT to alter your address like that?

Here it is the local council who do stupid things like that.

E.g. altering door numbers up a long road (though we never EVER get numbers running into thousands, in that case the postal code would change and numbers start from one again)...

anyway isn't it true that mail is delivered to the person and not the address in the grand ole US of A?

That's what I seem to recall picking up from some sort of Lonely Planet America guide or somesuch....

;->...

have a merry one if you're doing it

(Xmas)

You have my total sympathy!
The Nursing Home next door kept using my house number and all the post was totally messed up so I asked the Council to sort it out. They very obligingly gave the Nursing Home a new door number.....by adding an 'A' after my number where do these people get their brains?

I'm still holding some blame over my son's head for the virus he downloaded a few months back. My work has video blocked so I'll check it out at home.

...what I love about this? He's all over the road in terms of his range...
It's like trying to sing along with Freddie Mercury, unless you can really go 'dogs can only hear you,' in terms of octaves,
you HAVE to drop register...
(so you mean to tell me this guys hands are actually bari's...?)
Classic... classic, classic. (still laughing.)
