Home

Arrived safe and sound today. Glad I could be a help but glad I will get to sleep in my own bed tonight. MIL is nervous but I think she will be ok on her own. She's smart enough not to take stupid risks and the neighbors are checking in. There are many things I am cogitating regarding the week in GA... too much to quite put into words right now.

Again, thanks to all for the well-wishes, prayers, and general encouragement. I saw much improvement in MILs physical ability over the week and my back survived (though I am definitely looking forward to seeing the chiropractor on Monday). We also managed to get along reasonably well.

Glad you're back in your own bed. A great feeling indeed.

Hope your chiropractor can fix you. I'm seeing mine Tuesday.

MIL does have good neighbors, so she should be fine. I miss the ones we had back in the last house. Great neighbors. We used to have them over for bar-be-ques all the time and they'd bring beer, homemade pies, or whatever. They also watched our backs. So I'm sure MIL will be fine. She has good neighbors.

(((HUGS)))

I am glad about your fairly successful trip & your getting along well with MIL & your having got a 'compliment' and also a good Italian meal from the kind neighbors & above all the change from the routine of regular grind! :)

Hope that back gets back to to being normal soon!

You don't have to do it, but if you feel you must, you can go green and recycle!

Wait, stop the world ... sounds like many a miracle just occurred. I am glad to hear it and glad you are home. I have my own bedroom at my Sisters and I bring my pillow so I am comfy and all but somehow it is not the same as being at home in my own bed.

It was once so well in John Howard Payne's poem: Home Sweet Home "Be it ever so Humble, there's no place like home."

Big hug for your return ... I promise to be careful of your back.

And isn't a blog the perfect place to vomit up your cogitations?
