Friday 55& Da Count- Appreciation

FRIDAY 55

Diana HATES washing dishes.
She cheerfully volunteered to clean the kitchen.
Mr. Lime would rather die than paint a wall.
He wants to paint today.
I have received a couple of kisses.
Siblings are getting along nicely with each other.
I'm not sure what happened.
If aliens abducted my family
I'm ok with that.

DA COUNT
Well, everyone is home and generally behaving. There have been a couple incidents but generally attitudes have been fairly cooperative and considerate of each other. That's a refreshing change. So I am counting both the reunion and that those who have been gone longest are seeming to appreciate that they actually do have it pretty good around here.

Boy, if things like that happened around here, I would definitely be on the lookout for a spacecraft of some kind cause there would have to have been an alien abduction and replacement that had taken place. I'm positive of that!

Isn't it lovely when there's harmony in the house? And productivity to go along with it! You're a lucky woman... and you appreciate it. Enjoy!

Great 55. I really hope it's NOT fiction.

Absence is often the key to appreciation. Glad things are good... and a wonderful count.

BTW... I was up at 4 this morning hoping to find some portal to watch the opening ceremonies live... but to no avail. Guess I'll be glued to the tube tonight.

Cheers!

Maybe I need to send my girls to Louisiana for 6 weeks, they might come back appreciating what I do for them around here and I think my heart would stop if either of them volunteered to do our dishes.

I am glad things are going smoother for you all, hopefully it will continue!

As always a great 55 and Da Count.

have a great weekend!

It's a bit disconcerting when the family act out of character isn't it? Great 55 to illustrate it!

I'd don't think I'd be ok with aliens abducting my family. Who'd do all these household chores then?

Want to sneak out for a coffee, I could do with a little 'break' myself.

Maybe they were replaced by pod people? Notice any strange plants in your house recently? :)

Lime that is excellent. No one works harder for home and family than a mother so enjoy the reprieve while it last lol.

Have a great weekend.

Yea, what G-man said. If you can make a video maybe you should capture this moment. When things get crazy again you can dig it out and play this moment back. Maybe even for the offenders to say I want more of that. Come to think of it you can even ask for another day like that for Mothers day and your birthday.

That is wonderful Lime especially after parts of this very challenging year. Congratulations.

Or did the aliens really abduct YOU and put you in an alternate reality?

If only there were some way to know for sure.... Unless, of course, you're ok with that too.

Maybe it is gumbo or jambalaya withdrawls???

If I could find a fitting melody, I would be singing these lines as my "Happy Song" for the day. I am so glad to hear these words of pleasant enjoyment in your environs. You deserve no less.

Lovingly ...

I doubt there is anything in the world more deliciously wonderful than a contented family... Roll in it!

You know it won't last, so make any demands you have now before the genial genii disappears.

(sobnxexx) it gets worse
