Slice of Lime-Spa Days

Just a few more pictures of the lovely surroundings I found myself in last week. Here's a tile in the ladies' locker room.

Window in the quiet room

Floor of the Rain Shower

Detail of window in the aromatherapy room

Another detail of the same window

Waiting to be called for my next bit of pampering

Aaaaahhh....This is what relaxation feels like.

I'm wanting to know when I can go back. I've had a slow transition back to reality but now find myself fully immersed in it. Mom taxi, sick kids, going on a hunt to find all the bills that came in during my absence since no one put the mail where it belongs (I am finding bits and pieces all over the house), less than stellar report cards, general teen and spousal surliness.

Nope....clinging to the bliss....

Cling to it baby, cling to it!! And I might add, what a very beautiful picture of you. I'd frame it and from time to time when the Lime's get on that last... look and remember the bliss :)

The only thing better than that picture of you would be a group of us in there with you!

Yup, reality can really bite, can't it? That's what all these great photos are for - make yourself a nice album and look at it daily!

Oh that last picture I think you look so relaxed. That is it, you need to set up a quiet room and not just the bathroom. Mom is in her quiet place, go away!

The tile work is amazing. Real nice colors. And I am not sure why but the window in the quiet room just grabs me. Maybe it is just the thought of what that room is all about.

I think you need to season pass to the spa...

Beautiful pictures! Especially the last one of you... so serene and relaxed. I have enjoyed living the pampered life vicariously through you these past couple of days.... being all spa'd out and such... however, as I was cleaning up puppy pee off the floor this morning and picking bits of shredded paper out of the washing machine from whatever the hell someone left in their pocket... I was cruelly ripped back to reality. ouch.

Cling to that bliss, miss!

I used to get that feeling everytime I left LA to stay at our land near Yosemite. I'd be so relaxed. By the time I got back to LA, just the traffic alone, then finding a parking space in Venice Beach where I lived....damn near impossible.

By the time I got in the house, I'd be stresses again and forgetting the trees.....

Clinggggg!

:)

BTW I would KILL to have that rain shower...I dont really need all those jets, just the tile work and roundness will do!

Wow. Those shots are so moving and serene. How does the staff make a person leave it to go back to the daily grind?

Always keep a Hershey bar on-hand, for emergency recall of the pleasure.

Relaxation inDEED! Keep holding onto those feelings you had there when anything from 'reality' pops up. It might make the reality more bearable.

Ya know... clinging on to your bliss may actually throw the family off... in a good way. Stranger things have happened. ;)

More awesome photos! I especially like the "Window in the quiet room" one. :)

Hershey sure knows how to build a beautiful spa. You do look relaxed in the picture. Too bad the family had to bring you down when you got back.

One bright side, at least someone brought in the mail. My son hardly ever does it when I'm gone. The four days I was in Las Vegas the mailman kept stuffing it into the mail box. I'm going back to Vegas for a week next month, so he better bring it in.

Ooh, I want some...but not the part about sick kids and bills. Can I just get the spa bit, or does it all come in a package? ;)

Oh yeah, relax now! Payback is just around the corner! You have will be tagged...and I NEVER tag.

You better not miss my post for Fri 11/14. I’m one post shy of 600 and out of those there are only 3 current pictures of VE and NONE of him when he was younger. Ever wonder what teen VE looked like? Here’s your opportunity to find out along with a mega embarrassing meme as well. It’s not pretty.

Dang. 20 years ago, I could have pulled off drag and got to see that stained glass. Now, no.

I love both stained glass and tile.

Anyways, stay there and forget about your kids report cards and the bills.
