May we properly remember those who gave their last full measure of devotion in service and defense of our nation.May we remember to thank those who served honorably and returned to the embrace of family and friends.
May we work toward the day when no one is called upon to make such sacrifice.

I seldom agree with Andy Rooney but last night he said that he would like to have a day when no one was sent to war and that that would be a day to celebrate. I so agree with that.
