My mother taught me it's important to be true to who you are. I think there are some exceptions.
I want to thank you for diagnosing my daughter and commencing with treatment which helped her finally begin to regain her health. For that I am genuinely and deeply grateful. I tolerated your arrogance because it was backed up by knowledge. However, your extreme disrespect for the patient and her parents, unwillingness to discuss pros and cons of alternatives in care, manipulation, threats, and generally bullying behavior are unlike anything I have ever encountered from any medical professional and as you well know we have seen more than our fair share of doctors.
It is without the slightest trace of sadness that I bid you adieu. First, allow me to dedicate a song to you.
Sincerely,
Lime

Ugh. So sorry. Hope you find a better alternative soon. . .
(You remind me of something Bill Cosby said once, in response to the claim that 'cocaine intensifies you personality'; The Coz said, "Yeah, but what if you're an asshole?")
I hope that list o doctors helps out.
Yeah, my new doctor is also wearing the delusional cloak of godhood. Going to send a letter and dump him explaining what I think of him.
I hope you really do send him a letter letting him know what you think of his behavior and also the hospital/clinic where he works. Craziness.
Sad that so many in the medical profession not only believe they are God's gift to humanity, but also seem to harbor the notion that they, indeed, God.
I think that is inexcusable behavior for a doctor. Who do they think is supporting them? Its not the college degree... its all of us out there in need of help. To charge so much is bad enough, but to abuse us in the process is unforgivable. What a toad!
Go get him/her lime!
Hope she's already being seen by someone better!
It's so frustrating, how come so many Docs, and Nurses too, have that attitude? I think they teach it in Med School, a required course-
"Arrogance, Patronization, and Rudeness."
Glad you've already found her someone better!
I've never understood why people think being kind and being competent are mutually exclusive.
Awesome dedication. Love it! love that song!!

One day the great shall fall.... let that console you Michelle. Don't write to him. In your eyes he's earned your gratitude - let it lie... - Dave
So sorry you have had this bad experience with your Doctor-believe me I have met a good few who thought they were God's gift.
ummmm...let me guess....
Yeah, and the horse he rode in on, too! I don't wish ill on anyone, but karma is a bitch, and this doctor may someday regret that he wasn't kinder and more respectful when HE is the victim of someone equally arrogant and abusive! It may be a challenge to find someone as knowledgeable in the treatment of Calypso's condition as this doctor, but it's simply not worth adding insult to injury by continuing to see this anal orifice! My prayer for you is that you'll find someone (SOON) who is as medically proficient without the attitude and personality disorder of "Dr. Jeckell" (or was that "Mr. Hyde"?!) but you get my drift. :-)
Yes we too found ourselves funneled to the "best surgeon" or the "best ortho" only to find he AND she had the bedside of a nazi war criminal. Dumped one old school style demanding files from shocked waiting room, but was stuck with the other. Am glad ya'lls ordeal is coming to a close.
