Yeah, it's like that. It's a bad case of Cranial Void. I think I need a vacation. Perhaps you recall this post where I shared pictures of the place I like to escape to and how it was torn down to make way for something new.
Well, the new place is up but is yet to be certified for occupancy. There is some serious question as to whether or not it will be ready for next week when I hoped to escape. Fingers crossed.

Hope it works out for you, or something even better!
Crossing my fingers & toes for you!
This might be off subject but back when the Travel Channel was actually about trips an exotic locations and not an endless string of food shows they showed a program once about vacationing in the Caribbean on the cheap.
They had a team of two people do the same island and while one did the expensive resort the other did it staying at old fashioned guest houses for under $50 a night and eating at roadside stands for a couple of bucks and hanging out with the locals.
I was blown away with the person who did it cheaply, the most expensive item of the trip was the airfare.
Crossing the fingers. You deserve a break.

Oh, I do sincerely hope that you can vacate as planned. You could use some serious down time right about now, eh?
Vacation! Hope yours happens sooner rather than later!
Is that house tilted?
psst! Come to India , to my house with Susie! ;)
Sounds like a fabulous idea to me! I hope you can get some "slow time" for your brain to catch up!
Even your "nuthin" is better than some people's "sumthin"! ;-)
Gotta believe the vacay plans will come together someway, somehow. I can't think of anyone else I know right now who deserves it more -- well, other than maybe ME! lol
Keeping you in my thoughts...
"Cranial void?" That reminds me of the line from The Apple Dumpling Gang, where Theodore tells Amos: "The Lord poured your brains in with a teaspoon, and somebody joggled His arm."
Hope you can take your get-away as planned!
