Moderately risky and life-celebrating for over 40 years
Hahahaha... I love Flight of the Concords!Yeah, ST. V's Day is very commercial. I buy into it every year. But in my defense, I love to give presents... and any occasion will do. I love figuring out what will light up someone's face and seeing what they think will light up mine. LOL on the true gift of love being a funeral. I think that might scare the crap out of me.
Yeah, I'm a total cynic when it comes to Valentine's Day. With the kids, their activities, our jobs, and several other major factors making the fake holiday a pain in the butt we just skip it and try and sleep longer the following weekend. So that video about covers everything for me.
My friend Melissa says it best.Happy Icky Pink Day.
Your Valentine's heading caught my atencion at Beach Bum's blog, just browsing some for breakfast, and Yes, it's all ritual : ) ... Thanx for the funnies : )
BTW ... Happy Valentines day
It's my favorite day of the year! I wasn't called 'Love Child' in college for nothing!
I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but there's a whole line of, um, R-rated candy hearts. . .And you know, the funeral thing. . . together forever, right? And, @Bijoux, I'm instantly curious. . . if it's wasn't for nothing, why WERE you called 'Love Child' in college? Just, you know, if you want to share. . .;)
Lol! That video was just hilarious! Loved it. :DAnd the funeral thing, wow. I mean, really, wow.
silly rabbit, i'm not a complete cynic so i can appreciate your perspective. but if mr lime gives me a prearranged funeral it might be our last v-day together, ;)beach bum, socks and all, huh?just me, back atcha ;)ranch chimp, thanks for visitingbijoux, i would not have pegged you for loving v-day so much but i hope it's a lovely day for you and your husbandcraig, oh trust me i could have gone far worse with the candy hearts....theresa, love is eternal, huh?
@Craig - Because I've been consistently enamoured by someone since 2nd grade.
Funny... I think the funeral thing would be creepy though.Happy V-Day to you :)
As always, I love your take on things, Michelle. I can always count on you to come up with a unique perspective or some offbeat humor to make the ordinary interesting and scitillating.Loved the video. Even moreso, I followed the viewing of it to some equally thought-provoking and laugh-inducing YouTube videos, including this one:http://youtu.be/R-1hL26ISzQI hope the above works! ;-D
Make that:http://youtu.be/R-1hL26ISzQ(It's called "Brace Yourself" in case the above still doesn't work!) :-/
