You may remember we had dear friends from Trinidad visit us for Christmas last year. It was a very special time that we still treasure. Our friends had hoped to have a white Christmas when they visited. It came a year late for them but when I woke up and saw the dusting of snow I had to take a few pictures to send to them. Since my family was anxious to open gifts I had only a minute or two before they were going to mutiny. Here are the three best I was able to capture for my friends in the tropics.

Very lovely; too bad your Trini friends couldn't have seen it. . .
We got our dusting a day or two before you did, then 2-3 more inches the day after Christmas (fortunately, we missed most of it on our drive home from Chicago).
It's looking like the biking season is over for 2012. . .
thanks for sharing your snow with us :) in Southern California, it would truly be a Christmas miracle to have a White Christmas so it is always neat to see others' enjoying one!
I hope it was a great day for you and yours!

Nice Michelle. Our Christmas is in summer - Dave
Very pretty.. the sun's reflection looks golden. Too bad it wasn't here for your friends last year. I'd be willing to give them ours.
How lovely!
Your pictures are fantastic!
In fact light-years better than the one I could have taken here at my house.
It's been a number of years since we had a white Christmas.
We don't even get any snow most years.
The most memorable was the Christmas my parents came to our house.
It was the only occasion my mother had ever actually seen snow fall.
That was special.
It's all good fun until you have to drive in it!
If those don't make them glad that they ARE in the tropics, nothing will.
I can hear Bing singing White Christmas (as he was beating his kids) as we speak.
Have a Kick Ass New Year Michelle

Shucks on no snow when your Trini pals were visiting. NEXT TIME!
Beautiful! Well done!
We just got dumped on yesterday (while we were driving home from up north, of course- crazy drive) and still more to come today. It looks like a sledding day. :)
poor boom boom...freezing in the cold.
Nice. We got a little snow today, but none on Christmas itself.
