Touched by a Snowelf

What is your current obsession?
The Humboldt current

Good coffee place?
"Good" and "coffee" are incongruous

Do you nap a lot?
I don't wear corduroy or velour very often (ok, only the seamstresses out there will get this) nor do I have an afro.

Who was the last person you hugged?
Sadly, it was not the ever delectable Hugh Jackman

What’s for dinner?
I dunno but I guarantee it won't involve canned peas, liver, sauerkraut, or mayonnaise. Come to think of it now, that sounds like an ingredient basket for the new cooking reality show called Chopped. Seriously, last night I watched the chefs have to come up with a dessert made with beets and oatmeal. I will now pause while you all ponder the ramifications. Disturbing, isn't it?

What are you listening to right now?
The hamsters in my computer are begging for kibble

What is your favourite weather?
It's raining men, hallelujah!

What’s on your bedside table?
Wouldn't you like to know?

Say something to the person/s who tagged you.
Snowelf, I admire you tremendously for your indomitable spirit and quest to grow.

If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you want it to be?
Somewhere peaceful and picturesque to permit for quiet contemplation that may spark my creativity, someplace like just outside the fence at O'Hare airport.

What is the last song you listened to?
I'd prefer not to recall being jangled into consciousness by the strains of Ozzy Osbourne. He is not who I want to wake up to. Hugh, where are you?

Favourite vacation spot?
A few inches below my navel

Name the things you can’t live without.
Oxygen, water, food, shelter

What were the happiest two years of your life?
Well, it ain't the 2 years I've spent waiting in lines or traffic.

What would you like to get rid of?
The metal station Mr. Lime has the alarm clock set to AND his other alternative of the John Deere tractor alarm clock with the crowing rooster and chugging tractor sounds. The man is trying to make sure I wind up in the looney bin. I know it.

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
To bed

What did you want to become as a child?
An adult who remembered what it was like to be a child

What do you miss?
My mind

What are you reading right now?
Uh, these questions, so I can answer them. Duh!

What do you fear the most?
The smell of sweaty teenager worn shoes and clothes which have had time to ripen and ferment fully

What designer piece of clothing would you most like to own (new or vintage)?
Wait a minute while I stop laughing...

What did you last watch on television?
The dust all over the screen

You let HUBBY choose the radio station??? Gak. If I did that, all I would hear is country music. I DESPISE country music. IF I had to listen to it every morning, he probably knows I would do something to him just like in the lyrics of those awful songs....

Nothing wrong with your brain! (No, that was not sarcastic.) Funny stuffs.

I love when I stumble on an episode of Chopped and hear what the chefs have to work with. More often than not, it's an collection of items that chefs would never, ever even cook an entree with, even if it's the last meal people would ever eat.

It's taken many a year but Dave finally changed his morning wake up country station to pop. Its much nicer to wake up and listen to Chicago rather than Hilly Billy Bob at 4 a.m....

You are the queen of meme's :)

The "nap" answer made me laugh out loud, as did the best vacations spot...

As always I prefer to read your responses to these things than ha make up my own.

Vacation spot...Hillarious.

And you don't have to be a seamstress to understand nap. You could be a carpet layer ...

guinees, at 5am ozzy is the bane of my existence.

embee, i'm gonna go outside and watch myself get absolutely soaking wet...

maureen, i am not a big fan of country music but first thing in the morning, i'd tolerate twang better than death wails

ananda, glad you appreciate the warpage :)

fadkog, i seriously wonder if the producers are just trying to entertain themselves sometimes because the combinations are universally bizarre

kfarmer, in my home town i could wake up to the farm report and the old dutchmen talking vis the moo caw, bessie

jazz, *winks, good

nyd, you make a good point but wouldn't you rather lay a woman than carpet?

Sometimes when I'm feeling velvety, I can get a little nappy.

Why do you even do these if you aren't going to take the questions seriously?
Snow-Elf just E-Mailed me bawling her eyes out because you made a joke out of her Meme..
Tsk Tsk Tsk...

Mr. Lime wakes up to a metal station? Wow. . . I mean, I'm no fan of metal, but. . . somehow, strangely, my admiration for the man just grew. . .

Your favorite spot for the next hour is the same as Molly's (we were just remarking to each other recently, about how handy it is that both our respective favorite activities happen in bed. . .)

And, heh-heh, your favorite vacation spot sounds strikingly similar to mine (similar; not identical) (if you catch my meaning) (and I'm guessing you do). . .

LMAO!!! Love it!!!

Mmmmm Hugh Jackman...

::sigh::

"Chopped" sounds hideous. Oatmeal and beets? Yuck.

As for the vacation spot, the less I say the better off both of our psyches (not to mention marriages) will be.

And lthough I like alternative music, I would not want to be woken up by Ozzy Osborne!

This is why you don the crown, Queen of Memes!

p.s. (thanks Lime. ((hugs)))

p.p.s (don't listen to Galen :P)

Interesting read! Hope we can find time for a vacation together ;-)

s, good point and quite right!

gman, you don't fool me, she egged me on!

shadow, i couldn't bear to watch after they opened the baskets.

desmond, the metal station is a new choice this year. used to be oldies rock which was far more preferable to my way of thinking.

soliatiare, he IS luscious isn't he?

suldog, i have to agree on both counts. ;)

snowelf, yeah, ozzy is just a bit over the top at 5 am. seriously over the top at that hour.

renny, LOL glad you enjoyed

You're sarcasm is unbeatable. It is something sorely lacking in the Norwegian lifestyle...and i miss it.

I miss my mind too...

Bwahahaha! I think I'd be giving a couple of alarm clocks flying lessons!

lime said...

diane, glad to know i can help supply your USRDA for sarcasm l)

mona, it's a terrible thing to loose!

seamus, uh, yeah, believe me that is something akin to my fantasy

About all I watch on TV these days is baseball and Food TV. So while I have no idea what people are talking about when they blather on and on about American Idol, I did get your Chopped reference.

It is raining Hugh Jackman, hallelujiah...

oh - and he goes over the waterfall nekkid in Wolverine.

--yup. I can't WAIT for this to be out on DVD:
pause. rewind. play. pause. rewind. pause. rewind.

Sometimes you totally floor me with the first thing you say. Your current obsession is the Humboldt current. Ha-ha! I'll have to come back and read the rest after I finished ROTFLMAO.

You should be very lucky, like Anna, who can still wear with proud and sensuality what you did wear x-years ago.
It tell's me a lot.
I do not think I need to write a book about that;))

I like your honesty here at your blog. 'cause it's you.
Why write about things in a personal blog? It's too much "things" around we don't need, which differs very much from "things" that's give a personallity, like you do.
That's why, among milions of bloggers, I like to read yours.
Comprendo:)))

btw. My next post will be some Photos of our Cats.
