Friday 55 & Da Count-Da Fair

Let's go to the Fair.

There are pretty things,

weighty things,

and healthy things.

There are clever things.

There are creative things.

There is different music to hear.

There are fun things to eat.32

There are critters.

Don't let the rain chase you away.

The bright lights beckon.

And don't forget the freaks...
It takes one to know one.

This was great! You captured everything that's wonderful with a Fair despite the raindrops falling on your burqa.

Why youre right they do like em meaty!
Just look at that lady in the red dress in the gallery sign!

It never rains during our fair which is in August and normally around 90-100 for the fair. I wish it would rain, how refreshing and also weeds out the wimps!

I'm so disappointed that we didn't get a picture of the silver-tongued carnie. You tease us with that story of two ships, passing in the rain . . . unrequited lust . . . unspoken desires . . . incomplete sentences . . . wrong-tensed verbs . . . and then, nothing.

XO

That dude with a panflute looks like he's doing music from the Andes. They have a really neat sound, the way they use the flutes and drums. I like the old cultural dances from Bolivia, too.

A fair about once every ten years is all I need. But I go to Port Townsend the first weekend of every October, it's the most fun to have around here. And the 5th wheel is hooked up and I'm leaving in the morning.

Hey Lime, how are you doing? I haven't been to the fair in years and I need to go but for some reason I am always busy the two weeks it is here.

I am now tasting a caramel apple after seeing the big apple stand.

have a good Sunday!

I LOVE IT!!

That Dahlia is BEAUTIFUL! I can only seem to grow the small ones that just don't want to co-operate! pfffft!

I was just at The Big E (I think that's what it's called) New England's big fair or whatever. Tons to eat that's for sure!!

I have dhalias that color - they really are beautiful. But most striking to me is that incredible basket of veggies.

I was waiting for a final photo of you on your couch that night, clutching your belly, thanks to the funnel cakes and kettle corn and crocodile on a stick and stuff.
