Slice of Lime- A Silly Time

I admit it, I'm a sucker for photo booths. I was cleaning off my desk and found these old strips. I used to have them on my bedroom mirror but they were fading horribly so I scanned them and touched them up a little to save the images. I have missed playing around to come up with something artistic for Slice of Lime. Even though I can make my camera play nice with my computer now, the camera itself doesn't like to play nice with me as it's dying a slow, painful death. Time has also become a bit of an issue. One of these days I will get back to something more creative. In the meantime enjoy the family full of weirdness.

Would you believe I've never been in a photo booth? Where are these things?

I remember doing that with friends. I have no idea what happened to the pics.

I have a strip where all three of the boys and myself climbed into the booth at the beach when they were little... it was a trivial little thing at the time.... but now... those photos are priceless... just like yours! Great photos... great memories!!!

Believe it or not one of my true talents is to find photo booths that have just gone out of order and take my money.

And these days all the only chance you have for a refund is calling some toll free number where I get the distinct impression the person I talk with breaks out laughing after I hang up.

Absolutely, great photos of you and the kids Lime.

Gary and I have photo booth strips from our entire relationship...starting at about 1984 and going til now, and of course, LR pops into them around 1997 and we do it every year at the fair, some have extra friends in em...they are fabulous...one day when I get really good at matt cutting, I will matt them into a fram, but to have that done professionally, was estimated at 500 bucks to cut the matts!

Anyway...you make me want to go find them all...

MY WIFE and I absolutely adore photo booths (which are, unfortunately, becoming fewer with each passing day.) Where else can you have that much fun AND be provided with a more-or-less permanent souvenir of the experience? Aside from the back seat of a Dodge Rambler, I mean.

The series that stands out to me is with your daughter on the far left. In 2 pictures she has her head on your shoulder and in two there is space between you, more than in any of the other pics it seems. So, if I were to predict your relationship with her (is this Diana?), I would say it varies between closeness and distance, or it did when the photos were taken.

Or maybe a picture is just a picture!

Hey Lime, have you seen my photo booth gimmick? When I take a series of portraits, I set aside the top two or three for whatever the subject is looking for. But then, I sort through the rest of them and use a collage tool to mimic a photo booth strip of the funniest expressions. I throw it in as a surprise treat. It's quite a hit.

Oh fun! It's been years since I've even considered a photo booth. Probably as many since I've seen one. But you give me an idea for a possible future post..

I love the look on your boy's face in the very last frame, where you're laying one on him.

Photo booths are the awesomesaucest! We went to a wedding last summer, and there was free booth at the reception...HUGE fun.

I love photo booths. I have a strip where three of my sins added into my photo one at a time until all four of us were crowded into the booth.

Wow. Bits of you are really evident in each of your kids. Those shots are real treasures!
