HNT-Tie Dye #9-Frugal, Practical, and...

When I was learning to tie dye and the apron didn't turn out quite the way I wanted, I thought I should find a way to practice techniques and patterns cheaply and without ruining an entire article of clothing should my experiments fail. I did a bunch of floursack kitchen towels and men's handkerchiefs. I rather liked having funky dishtowels so whenever I had just a little bit of leftover dye I'd make another one instead of dumping the dye down the sink. The question was how to present a boatload of dishtowels for HNT in a somewhat interesting manner. Given that my kitchen rules are simple (If you enter while I am cooking be prepared to either help me or dance with me...since music is always playing) I thought this little collage would be appropriate.

I present to you...

The Dance of the Seven Dish Towels
(Yes, I am really wearing 7 dishtowels. Insanity knows no bounds.)

Dance of the 7 dishtowels

Happy HNT!

I don't know Doctor...One minute he was sitting at his computer, and the next minute he was rendered inoperative, he could only mumble the words 'Tie Dye Trini' over and over!
Maybe he'll never recover!

...Yeah, but look at that smile!!
