This is my fridge. It's covered in magnetic poetry. I got all those magnets years ago when I needed to get back into doing something creative. I figured since I spent a lot of time in the kitchen, in between stirring pots of food I could compose poetry on the fridge. The kids use it on occasion too. I started keeping a notebook next to the fridge so I could write down whatever was composed.
As you can see, there are great literary works composed here. I hasten to add, none of these are my works. Credit or blame goes to Isaac.
Sometimes, evidence of entering a new developmental stage is also left behind. I do believe Isaac has discovered girls!
This one, I don't even want to consider analyzing its message. It won't be added to the notebook. (Of course, I'll post it on the blog for all the world to see though.)

Try to assemble the Declaration of Independance on your fridge....
Although I donh't think the word big dinosaur or breasts are in that particular piece of work...
Hehehehehe...I also have magnets from Hell on my fridge...G
xox
i love sexy goddess womans breasts too
Blogger is not co-operating, this is the last time I'm going to try and comment!!!!
I should analyze that too closely as it will give you brain ache and possibly irreversible psychological damage.
There. I'm done. If it doesn't work I'm going to pout!
Cheers
Hmmm...that last one...clearly not written by a vegetarian. I'll have to have the VE staff investigate...
Uh oh the boy has discovered girls!
This means its time for me to send you the pink and red Valentine fridge magnet version of this game, with words like kiss, love, sweetheart, etc....
pretty sure its a PG-13 bunch of words!
That is one grand collection of magnetic poetry. Makes my wall seem puny by comparison.
When I drool one swimmers it's usually from the diving board.
I think I just got an idea for a present The Missus will love. Thanks.
Do you have the Shakespearean Insult set?? That's awesome because you can call someone a cuckold on your fridge and most people have no idea what you're talking about! ;) Ha!
As yes, the drunken hours of compiling phrases of fridges... a great past time!
i am *totally* getting a set for the kids! (ok, and maybe for the momma too *grin*)
Aye, sounds like the boy is growing.
That last one is a little, um...odd. I'll leaveit at that.
hehhehheh thats all i can say quite frankly...!!! ;) xxx
Just e-mailed you something on this...
Those are hilarious!
I need to get some of those. :)
I love those fridge magnets. I have seen them before but have never had them myself. They are so much fun to play with. I am glad your whole family enjoys it. Its good for kids to express themselves.
OK, "sexy goddess woman", you caught me! I confess it was me who sneaked in and arranged those particular magnets on your fridge! I never anticipated poor Isaac would get the blame (or credit!) for doing so! Perhaps that explains his subsequent "big dinosaur" comment! ;-)
I have to admit that I laughed out loud at the last phrase. I'm a sicko, I know.
I'd like drooling on swimmers too if it was Amanda Beard or Haley Cope.
And who doesn't love sexy Goddess woman's breasts?
I think I'll pass on commenting on that third one.
I LOVE your fridge! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your fridge. All those words to play with, how does anyone find time to get food out of the fridge?
the doors of our fridge are stainless steel, so the only place we can put magnets are on the side. even then only a small space cuz ya can't get to the rest of it. i do have magnets, but mostly my kids 'craptastic crafts'
I'm old enough now that I drool on everything while sleeping
I have a couple word sets but where did you find so many? Those are awesome.
I should get some of those magnets. I always love making insane sentences on other peoples refrigerators and wondering what their reaction is when and if ever they notice it.
Same thing with those dry erase "to do" lists you see at peoples houses. I always add in a completely crazy chore in. Like milk the fish or juggle coffee mugs.
I have a massive frige magnet collection that I "gave up" many years ago when I settled down with y other half. I still have it in zip lock bags in a closet though, and sometimes go through it for fun
That magnetic poetry lives up to its name :)
I have magnetic souvenirs on my Fridge, which include two barometers , and a Michelangelo painting print & a star guitar from country music hub, Nashville! Also a picture of me on River Hudson Cruise in NY!
What a fantastic idea for a non-invasive way to stimulate language appreciation and creativity in a non-judgmental way! wonderful!
