Now that I am I can tell you I like your politics. My cousin, President Lincoln, created the Republican Party and I have been a lifetime member but the second time George W. Bush ran and his Supreme Court cronies put him in office I abandoned the Republican party and joined the Democrats.
Now I thoroughly enjoyed William Jefferson Clinton as president, including his jaunts with that girl in the Whine House bathroom, and I think his leaving office with a monumental surplus in the National Budget was worth me staying on as a Democrat. I do not know if I will be this enthusiastic about Barack Obama but I will at least give him 8 years to find out how much I like him.
I hope this comment will not discourage you from returning to my blogs. I think I have 8 of them and each one is better than the last one. However I would recommend your taking a look at my granddaughter.

Just wanted to say, at the very least, Obama does not surround himself with sexy women in business suits and garter belts in order to elevate himself as a man.
He is obviously lacking in the gifted department, and these women make him look like a super stud, dont they?

The jury is still out for me! I really do hate election years.
This year has been really nutty with the elections... I really don't like either candidate and I hate the rifts I see forming in my groups of friends because of this... people get too passionate about things they know nothing about and then friendships are broken...
it's sad.
So I stay out of it.
But I will say that I would vote for Maxine... it's great!

Well, I'm not sayin' I'm all happy about the choices, but damnitall I cannot vote for McCain and the babe. Obama will get my vote. In fact I'm volunteering for his campaign.

I normally hate election year and this one is certainly more hated than any before. I do not like any of our choices and I dread seeing what is going to happen to our country after the new Pres. takes his spot, I mean isn't it bad enough already?

I've never donated to a campaign in my life... until yesterday. Obama is my choice - after that... Maxine. If that doesn't work - we are moving to Iceland in November.
